The Covid-19 pandemic is here, but there’s no need to panic.

I can meet many friends and experience the social culture of Malaysia. The multi-ethnic work experience has also opened my eyes, and part-time work has enabled me to gain valuable experience in the future of the workplace. Therefore, part-time work in Malaysia is an important way to improve our capabilities.

My name is He Yu Hang, I come from China. I chose to come to Malaysia for my university education because there is a better opportunity given. When I first arrived in Malaysia, I was so terrified due to that I could not speak English well and totally strange environment around me. However, no pain no gain, fear pushes me, I learn hard, I speak it out without fear, if any mistakes were pointed out, I can fix it immediately. And I finally passed my level 4 of IEP (Intensive English Program) in USM 3 years ago. I did not regret to come at all as I feel lucky and did not feel lonely as I thought it could be, I found good friends, and there is always Mr.Kenneth taking care of us.

Unconsciously looking back, the three years are fleeting. I remember that on April 16th three years ago, I came to Malaysia which is a agog city and started my first step to the pursuit of my dream. At that time, I could hardly speak English, not to speak Malay, and the most important issue was timidity. I dare not talk to foreigners and be afraid of being teased. After three years, Although my English hasn’t reached the point of complete versatile communication, but the timid problem has disappeared without a trace, and I would like to thanks Malaysia which is a country with a diverse human environment. Of course, what I learn in Malaysia is not just knowledge, but social experience is also extremely important.

I have to say it is a good opportunity for me to study here. Although I have met some problems, they are challenges and lessons. There are also many Chinese students here. Teachers here are friendly to help us. Meanwhile, I appreciate that Mr.Kenneth gives me an opportunity for a part-time job and helps us a lot. It makes me more adapted to the environment here.

I am happy to be here in Malaysia. There are a lot of different ethnic which I can learn & experience its different culture. People here are very friendly, the teachers are good & students are willing to help each other. The quality of teaching is awesome & I like it a lot.
